Black Eyed Bean (Cowpea) Seeds

Black-eyed beans make a great addition to stews, soups, curries, and salads. They can also be a perfect side dish, or they can be mashed into a dip.

Plant the seeds about 20 to 30mm deep and 150 to 250mm apart. Cover and water thoroughly. You should see sprouts in about one to two weeks. As with any beans, it is a good idea to have a pole or some kind of support for the butter beans to climb up.
