Earthworm Farm 3 Tier

Our stackable worm farm is the ideal size if you are looking for a worm farm that is easy to manage, move around, and doesn’t take up too much space. Made from high-quality, fully recyclable, impact-modified polypropylene material, it has a solid base and sides and is impact-resistant.

We have also made our worm farm beginner-friendly, including everything you need, with an added downloadable guide on caring for your worms.

Complete worm farm kit includes:

3 Tier worm farm
22L capacity
440mm x 310mm x 168mm
Made from HACCP compliant material

We use high quality containers to make the worm farms.
We did not want to use the cheaper storage bins that many people convert to worm farms as this does not look very polished or neat.

We chose a smaller size, as these 40L or 50L worm farm bins are very unpractical and bulky. We feel the smaller farm can be more convenient for clients as it takes up less space, looks much neater, and is easy to move around and work with.

The specs are as follows:
• 3 Tier stackable worm farm
• 22L capacity
• 440mm x 310mm x 168mm
• Made from HACCP compliant material

They are made from high-quality, fully recyclable, impact-modified polypropylene material, it has a solid base and sides and is impact-resistant.

The lids are made from wood, painted with non-toxic paint and sealer, to make it water resistant.

There are drainage holes at the bottom (except for 1 container) and 5 ventilation holes at the top on each side of the containers. Ventilation is very important to prevent problems in worm bins.

We chose not to include a tap on the bottom tier, as there is a very large misconception regarding worm tea. The liquid draining from the worm farm is leachate, and not worm tea. You should not have excessive amounts of water at the bottom of your worm farm, as this indicates you are overwatering your worms. This usually happens because people drown the worms for the “worm tea”, making their bins anaerobic, and causing a multitude of problems. Worm tea is made with worm castings in a controlled process, where we stimulate the growth of beneficial microbes and bacteria. Although leachate may contain these, we don’t know if it also contains pathogens.
